Golf R 2017 activation via handbrake

VW Golf R 2017 Manual transmission with evo-one 78.35/1.24.

is it possible to do option 33.2 (activation via brake/handbrake) when 20.6 (tach data-link only) or do I have to wire the tach?

You can enable 33.2 without problem. Make sure you have ignition input going to the thick pink wire on the EVOONE.
