How do i reset the EVO-ALL?

Question

I want to reprogram the module, how can I do it? I've a Sentra 2006 and when I tried the remote starter, the motor only cranked. If I let the key in the switch without turning the key, the remote is working. So I thought that it was my EVO that was the problem and I tried a method suggested in the FAQ to reset the module and I can't reenter my program. Also, is it normal that the three leds blinks after the program is set?

Reset is quite simple:

1- Hold down programming button while plugging in datalink connector.
2- Let go of button when LED is RED.
3- Push and hold button again until all three LEDs start to alternate.
4- Disconnect unit, she is now reset.

After a reset, reprogram the EVO using the programming described in the installation guide (program 1).

 

Once the programming is complete, test your remote starter again. If it still does not work, then do not try to program the EVO again.. Once programmed, the unit does not unprogram itself. Something else now is preventing a remote start.

 

I recommend you try the simple troubleshooting guide for that vehicle.

OK, after asking the question, I return in my garage and I find my mistake. The connector at my key switch has six wires and I have mixed the two browns. I have fixed it and programm the module. Now my remote is working fine. Thank you anyway for your answer.
