Programming the EVO to any vehicle is outlined in the installation guide for what ever vehicle it would be going into.

The only thing is...  new vehicles would now require a certain firmware loaded onto the EVO.

Example:

  • GM uses firmware 70.[xx]
  • Hyundai uses firmware 76.[xx]
  • Toyota uses firmare 79.[xx]
  • Nissan uses firmware 72.[xx]
  • etc....

The only way to change the firmware on the EVO is with the Flash-Link Updator. Which can be bought. The software itself to be able to use the Flash-Link Updater is a free download on our website.

Basically, yes you can reprogram the EVO to any vehicle, but you may need to change the EVOs firmware depending which vehicle it would be going into. If you have all the proper programming/installation tools, then yes.
