Locking too many times when starting

Question

I just finished installing the evo all in standalone configuration in my 2018 silverado and it is programed and starting the truck. However i have to hit lock 3 times fairly slowly and it seems like the locks are actuating 6 times. its like the remote locks the doors then the evo locks them which repeats 2 additional times and then it starts.   I assume it is a setting im missing as my altima does not do this. I will be installing a long range kit in the near future and would like to correct the problem at that time. Thanks for the help.

If vehicle has onstar (even if it's not active) DO NOT press the button at step 10.

You can also quickly and easily test the evo by giving a ground pulse to the PURPLE lock input wire (note: this test will not work if you enabled Option G)
