Ego all does not blink lights when running

Question

I installed the evo all on a 2010 rX350. The unit works fine but I did not connect the parking light wire because the unit does flash the parking lights to confirm start. I figured it would blink the light once in a while while running like during start.  I assumed it used the can bus to do it. Is that possible or do I have to go connect the wire? Also, is there anyway for it to detect the factory hood pin using the can bus so I do not have to install hood pin?

You need to connect the wire for parking light.

If it's possible, the hood will be detected over canbus. If it does not work, you need to install one.
