Footbrake wiring

Question

I have a 2011 VW Jetta that I am doing a stand alone installation with the t-harness and the transponder bypass.  I do not have to push the brake to start the vehicel, so I wanted to make sure that the footbrake wire on the t-harness will stay intact.  I am assuming that the yellow shaded portion is only for push brake to start applications.  Just wanted to get confirmation.

Yes if the vehicle does not require the brake to be push to start you don't need to do any modification to the harness.
