does evo one need RF Kit

Question

I have a 2017 outback

installed evo one and do not get remote start,

diag chart asked for red light on module, I only get the blue lights on lock never a red

diag chart said to check rf kit set up? didnt say anything about that in the install paperwork

i want to use oem remotes on the key

 

need some help

That vehicle will work with 3x lock.
