Anti-Theft Immobiliser Circuit

Here are some other reasons Ford/Mazda normally cause problems when trying to program any bypass module using the typical 2-key procedure.

  • If you do not have 2 master keys, programming will never work. Having a key made at a locksmith is simply a cloned key and does not act as a master key. The car will reject it when trying to enter programming thus the evo will not be able to program.
  • Timing when cycling the keys on-off is wrong.
  • Connections are reversed
  • If the BCM has spare key programming disabled, the car will never go into programming.

All the above can be ignored by simply doing the Dcryptor procedure instead. It does require the Flash-Link but as long as connections are good, it always goes through and doesnt rely on all the little details aside from proper connections
