KIA Rio 2012 programming went well but it wont remote start.

How are you trying to remote start the vehicle? RF kit or OEM fob?

You can find compatible RF kits here: http://ca.fortin.ca/en/technology/rf_kits.html Our own line of RF kits will be the easiest to program since our evo-one is already set up to communicate with our RF kits, Any other brands will require the Flashlink updater-2 and in certain cases another module, (XL202 for DEI branded rf kits) OR re-pinning the antenna cable.

please change your Function 38 from mode 3 to mode 2 please on the remote starter side (connection mode: remote starter)

 

And on the bypass side, please turn on options A1 to A11 ( you need A7 on for brake shutdown) and turn off D5 (you will also need to have C1 ON.)

still no start, when turned on the amber led is on.

I'm sorry i was answering 2 posts at the same time, my colleague Derek was correct, 3xlock start is not supported in this vehicle, as shown on our website.
