Evo installed in 2012 f150 by previous owner, I want to add a viper smartstart, do I need to reprogram unit for install

Its a standalone unit, works fine I just want to know if I need a programer.

Yes you will need the programmer.

The exception would be if I did the original install. I turn on Smart Start every time I do 3LS regardless so I don't need to reprogram when the customer needs an upgrade.

 

But thats just me ;)
