Red led staying on as soon as EVO all is pluged in

0 votes
Hi

I have a 2010 f150 ford and I am installing RSOO-G5 remote start with EVO ALL data link. It seemed to be ok and I tried to program several times before I found bad connection on data bus wire. I repaired connection but when I plug it in the red led comes on as soon as it is pluged in. I tried the the things you sugested from another persons question all but reflashing it. Do you think that would fix it as I will have to send it back to vender for programing.

Thanks

Looking at this service number 001A06454178.

Even if it was programmed your car still would not start as the key bypass feature has been turned off in the options menu. You can see this here http://fortin.ca/en/support/001A06454178/

I would suggest a master reset and then select the correct options for your install. If you dont have the flash link updater then you will need to contact your seller.

Also check to make sure your GWR isnt resting at ground at all times.

Ensure the correct protocol is selected between the 2 modules.
