2010 Ford Escape parking light wire

I'm inside the drivers side running board and there are two wires that are purple with a white stripe .

one of them is a larger wire than other

which one should I use ?

There is no guessing here, take out a digital multimeter and look for the wire that shows 12VDC when the parking light switch is on, and 0VDC when the switch is off.

Just did a 2010 Ford Escape. Neither wire in running board wires worked (1 was brake other was unknown) I went to the BCU in center consol, found the wire above fuse panel.

yes that works as well,the same wire is in 2 locations.

It can be found in the drivers kick or the SJB as you mentioned.
