EVO-ALL red LED on continuously and can’t reset.

Question

EVO-ALL sn 001A07 707397 is not getting past step 5 of decryptor programming (pg 6/12 guide 62591). After waiting some time I turned off the ignition and unplugged cables from the Evo-All to attempt another programming cycle but the red LED illuminated and won't go out. I attempted a master reset where I installed firmware .99 and then attempted reset again and no change. Can some one shed some light?

You’ll notice in my post that a master reset following your link did not work. When the programming button is pushed and power re applied and the button pushed and held down nothing happens.

You cant reset it on .99.

- flash .99

- re connect the evo in the vehicle (all connectors), leave connected for 2 minutes

- return to pc with evo and load fw for vehicle being worked on

- return to vehicle and perform master reset.
