RFK942 flashes green when any button is pushed... No action from car locks / start

This is a Fortin EVO-GMT1 with THAR-GM1 t-harness.   Added the RF 942 using the RF-A2A harness.  Both remotes programmed as they should.  When any of the buttons are pushed on either remote, the antenna green LED acknowledges every time with any/all buttons.  The vehicle does NOT respond.  Factory remotes still work.  Maybe a bad RF-A2A harness ?

Shocking... just a wild idea to switch the RF setting to "Crimestoppers", and it now works perfectly even though this is a Fortin RFK942
