2008 lexus es350 streeng lock +

0 votes
checking the guide #2891 for evo all for my 2008 lexus es 350 and I am unable to find the 10 pin connector on the BCM. there is a 10 pin connector there but the shape is completely different from the pictures. lookinh for streeng lock + wire. I found the 20 pin connector and its underneath the streeng cover not to the left.

is connecting start/stop wire mandatory if I dont wanna use the idle mode? I couldnt find that connector as well. is it behind the push to start button? if yes that is really hard to access to that connector.

Please provide the VIN for the vehicle. it is not normal that the connectors on the back of  the BCM does not match the diagram and photos we provide. Steering lock connection is not optional in this install.

The Start-Stop connection on the the other hand is completely optional.

found the streeng lock + connector on the back of the BCM. the wiring diagram is somehow confusing since some connectors are shown from the front and some from the back. I think its better to be mentioned which way we should look to find the wire.

also the 12v+ wire in OBD II port is oranage not pink.

overal the giude was helpful and it worked fine for my installation.

Thanks

guides mention front or back view.

I'm about to install on my 2008 lexus ES350 having trouble wiring guide or a t harness to make it easier anything you could recommend
