VW Polo TB-VW Evo-All FT7000

+1 vote
Hi I have a 2014 australian delivered vw Polo (2 Plug BCM) hooked up to a compustar FT7000 and BladeAL using the DL-VW1 firmware all works fine, BladeAL reads can and no problems. I have decided to try to use a VW-TB and evo-all so I can retrieve my spare key, after installation the evo-all won't read the can, the blue light on the evo-all goes out when the ignition is turned on but never starts to flash, I have tried switching the can wires but nothing changes. I have also tried the recomended firmware and the base firmware still nothing, I used the jetta info for connections all are the same except the can 2 wires from the obd2 port are diferent colours Orange/Violet Orange/Brown but are in the same pin positions. all help would be appreciated

Regards

Chris

Officially this vehicle is not available in NA and have not been tested by us. Technically the 2014 Polo is the same has a 2015+ Golf in NA, NOT Jetta, but again, is has not been tested.

The blue light will flash if the grey and grey/black wires are connected correctly, don't worry about the can2 wires at this step. Your module is currently at 4.18 which is the wrong version for this vehicle and must be updated to 75.31.

I Have tried to complete the programming with the grey grey black wires only connected and have reversed these also but the Evo-All still will not program it's just a bit weird that the Blade AL learns the can but the Evo-All doesn't? just as a question does the Evo-All need a keysense input to program? again thanks for your help

The EVOALL need an ignition input on the yellow wire to program, don't need key sense.

The EVOALL will not program on a vehicle it doesn't know to prevent it from sending wrong command to vehicle.
