Do I need a diode

I am trying to buy the evo all for my 2011 Impala. I just want to make sure I buy all the proper equiment. I see that the Yellow ignition wire from the Evo goes into the remote start ignition then to the car ignition. Do I need a diode for this one connection?

No diode is needed in this installation, we actually need to power up the vehicle's igntion wire.

So wiring up all 3 wires, Yellow wire from Evo to ignition wire from after market remote start to car ignition wire, it will not fry the ignition? I read it sometimes does that.

If you are unsure of what connections or where to connect wires,we highly recommend having a professional installer/shop install the foritn product for you. Because our products may seem easy to install, DIY's may attempt to install it themselves but as noted on our website:

All connections need to be tested using a digital multimeter before connecting wires to it.

Will it hurt to add a diode if not necessary?
Adding a diode will prevent the vehicle from remote starting.
