2011 Subaru Impreza WRX Hatchback 3x Lock

0 votes
I have a customer who wants remote start on his 2011 Subaru Impreza Wrx Hatchback Manual. He doesnt want after market remotes. My question is according to vehicle diagram for evo-one and evo-all, they monitor door locks and no hard wire is needed. Does that mean I can use the 3x lock feature in order to initiate remote start from OEM remotes (Also see there is option to monitor C1 - Oem Remote Status in vehicle install diagram? Also i see for 2nd Starter connection, what size fuse do you recommend off of Evo-One to relay on diagram.

3x lock is not available on the vehicle. you will need rf kit. The fuse is already mounted on the EVOONE harness.

I also have one other question. Customer has a 2012 but body style matches a 2011.

Manufacture date is 01/12.

Body and interior matches your diagrams for 2011.

Does not match your 2012 body and interior.
What's the complete vin #? That will tell us for sure the year of it.

Weird it is indeed a 2012...but they may have used up some old 2011 parts on it seen it before on other makes..... Like you mentioned compare the guide to the vehicles wiring and then install accordingly
In 2012 the WRX and STI were still 2011- body. In 2013, all impreza, wrx and sti had the new body.
