Is EVO all on kia forte 2014 PTS requires one of OEM remotes to be in the car

Is installation of EVO all in kia forte or cerato (euro) PTS 2014 requires one of the OEM remotes to be always in the car?

No. As per the guide their is no key require to be left in vehicle for this car (north american kia forte 2014 pts). Not sure if theirs a difference in the euro version though.
