XL202 supported features

Question

Which features of the XL202 are supported by the Evo One? Do two-way remotes indicate lock, unlock, and remote start status? Does the runtime remaining, reset runtime, temperature check, etc functions work? Basically I'm trying to decide if it is worth going with the 7752V LCD two-way remote.

It's 50/50 on which models work with the status checks and which do not with the LCD remotes.

Is there a document listing the compatibility? I would at minimum like confirmation of the remote start. If the LCD support is hit or miss how does the basic 5 button two-way 7254V remote with 6211T antenna work? I'm trying to figure out if the XL202 is worth the money over the one-way Crime Stopper REVO-4.

I don't have a model number for the LCD models, but.. car started status works; if there is forced entry to the vehicle, you will get cofirmation on the remote that the door was opened.

 

The 5 button 2-way, model ASRF-3515 works perfectly fine.

 

As personal preference, I used to always recommended 2-way without LCD. Less chuncky in your pockets and you don't have to worry about breaking it.

All DEI remotes compatible with their XL202 will function whether they are 1-way or 2-way

The 7819v 1 button 2way and 7616v 1way remotes are new since this last post-are they also compatable ?  - so far they dont work with ads/flash logic -fyi

The XL202 is the one that communicates with the evo and it is always compatible. So really its more a question of if the remotes work with the XL202. I would suggest taking a look at the firmware list they have for the xl202.
