I just purchased Evo-All and THAR GM1 to remote start on CHEVY CRUZE 2012 do i need to purchase a remote starter?

I contacted a local installer and he said that I also needed to purchase an aftermarket remote starter to work with this. question is can this work soley as a remote starter and be able to use the original Key??

3X LOCK on the OEM Remote To Start The vehicule !

 

(But you will need to unlock the door with the original steel Key once remote started)

If the T-Harness is aTHAR-GM1 you will need a remote starter. Ideally you will have the THAR-GM1v2, which has modification done for it to work in stand alone mode.

 

Your local installer can easily modify the THAR-GM1to become a THAR-GM1v2.
