ftd-100 is required?

 

what if the antenna is a 4 pin, would the evo-one be directly compatible with that?

instructions says to change the order of the wires around on the connector.

with the 4 pin models you can just swap the pins as per guide yes. As long as the antenna is compatible with the FTD100 that would work
