How to connect the cable that wraps the key cylinder to the EVO-ALL

I am trying to connect the cable that wraps the key cylinder on my Subaru to the EVO ALL but noticed that a plug was not included. How do I need to attach my two cable leads to the EVO ALL since I have no plug and the pins are very small? Thank you

Hello, I finished installing my EVO ALL with a computar CM7000AS. They car is remote starting fine if I leave the key in the ignition barrel "off position" but will not crank with the key wrap as described in guide #3034 connection #5 for a 2015 Subaru WRX STI with standard key. I did the maximum number of loops and I am using 24 gauge wire. I wired the ends of the key wrap to white/red and white/blue on the EVO as you told me but is not working for me. Any other ideas or am I doing something wrong? I know my last option is to take the chip out of the valet key and put it close to the key barrel but don't want to do that as of yet.

I also saw a "key sense picture #11" and "key wrap picture #18" cable in the wire color documents, do I need to use these cables for anything?

Thank you like always.

Did you do the actual loop around the key barrel also? Key needs to be wrapped to grab the transponder signal, and then you send this signal via a wrap to the front of the barrel.

If you want to test your key wrap it's easy to test :

  • Wrap the key you normally use in aluminium foil until you cannot start the vehicle with it anymore (this will cancel out the rf from the chip).
  • the key you have wrapped, jump the two wires going to the EVO-ALL white/red and white/blue together
  • try to start your car with the key thats covered in aluminium foil. If your key wrap is good, the car will start.
Hello Robert, yes I wrapped the key barrel also. I found my problem. This new 2015 Subaru STI has a "circular red ring light pipe" in front of the key barrell and was not letting the signal go through it. I had to remove this  "circular red ring light pipe" and wrap the key barrel behind it and then reinstall the light pipe. This solved my issue and the car now remotes starts fine, I just have to get used to the reservation mode.

Now my issue is everytime I start the car with the normal key, a couple of seconds later it locks itself and then unlocks again. I think it is related to "rearm after start setting" but I changed it on the compustar so that it won't do it. I know is not related to the EVO but any feedback helps. Thank you.
Maybe look through ignition controlled door lock options in the starter.
