Ford Focus Titanium Lock*3 Start OK,but....

Question

I installed EVO-ALL on Ford Focus 2014 Titanium recently.

Ford Focus Titanium Lock*3 Start setting is OK, but when I  use remote-start processing successfully, the car door is also quickly unlocked about 3~5 seconds that everyone can get in the car. (Though after remote-starting the car 3~5 seconds, the car door locked again, but everyone can get in the car during that 3~5 seconds)

 

Problems: press Lock*3 times-->car door unlocked -->car staring-->car door locked again

Wants: press Lock*3 times-->car staring(car door remaining locked)

We send a disarm code to the Can before remote start. In north america that code does not unlock the doors. Vehicles not in North America may act differently.

That process of unlock before and relock after start is actually something very commonly used by evcery installer to disarm the factory alarm before remote starting.

Changes options will not change anything since it's coded into to firmware to send a certain code before remote start. There is nothing you can do at the moment to change that.

You means the can code "disarm" is not unlock door on North America Focus?

but ,It  is unclearly on others.

It is design to disarm car that avoid trigger alarm,but it is do not unlock door,right?

Yes. In North America it does not unlock, it only disarms.

 

There will be a solution for non North American cars also in future  Ford firmware releases.

Hello Robert ! Can you please open firmwire 6.71.15 for download ? Because only in this firmwire doors is not unlocked before start on european ford. I tested it on my ford kuga 2013, but this firmwire is unavailable now. Even  6.71.19 unlock doors before start, starts after 2x lock press, and sometime not lock doors after start ! Function "D5 Lock after start" is ON. Function "D2 unlock before/lock after" is OFF.

I do not have access to that but have sent in a request. Normally when a firmware is removed it most likely also deleted.
