Do I still cut wires even on datalink?

Hi. On the 2013 Nissan Rogue wiring diagram is says to cut both Intelli-key take over and Key sense wires (white and black) but do I still have to do so even when on datalink? Thanks.

Hello,

 

Looking at connection of the Nissan/infiniti install guide, the only connection mentionned that needs to be cut is the vehicles Tx wire.

 

Make sure you are using the correct install guide.
