Under what conditions are the (+)IGNITION2 contacts supposed to open on Mazda CX5?

Should the contacts for the (+)IGNITION@ relay ever open? They always seem to be closed

That wire will only open when the vehicle is remote started and you are sending lock/unlock from the oem remote. the rest of the time it should remain closed.
