2017 Encore brake pedal is not recognised by the module

2017 Buick Encore PTS after door is opend and without key in the car the vehicle will not shut off. no security feature, in case someone will open the car without the key car can be driven away and won't shut off. Can i fix this? I am using GM 6 T-harness.

What is the S/N number on the back of the module?

On this vehicle the take over procedure is the unlock signal. (page 8 of this guide: https://fortin.ca/download/77311/evo-all_ig_tsa_bi_gm6_encore_pts_2017_c_77311.pdf)

 

If you want to test it:

-Lock the vehicle with the drivers window down.

-Remote start it.

-Reach inside the vehicle and open the door from the inside.

-The vehicle will shut down.

 

If you do not find this secure enough you can always enable option D3 - door open shutdown, which will cause the evo to always turn the vehicle off when it is remote started and a door is opened.
