Programming 2012 fj cruiser solod red light

Question

I have everything properly wired for the 2012 fj cruiser and I programmed the module on the computer. When It comes to plugging in the module the light is solid red like it's supposed to be but when you turn the key to the on position it just stays solid red. Maybe someone can reboot my module with the s/n?

Does the red led flash if you start the vehicle instead of just turning ignition on?

 

Also if you unplug the red connector from the evo, are you able to start the car normally with the key?

No it doesn't flash at all. It stays stuck solid red. The car won't start when the red harness is unplugged or any harness for that matter

Was any type of quick connect use to make the connections?

 

Do you have access to a flash link updater?

If you mean quick connect by the splices I shaved the jacketing off the wire so it was bare copper to copper contact. I checked the splices to for continuity so it's not the splices. And yes i have the flashing updater. The hockey puck one

Ok, my next sugestion would be to try rolling the firmware back. flash 79.59 into the evo then re attempt programming in the vehicle. If it doesnt program with key on, try starting it.

I did try reprogramming it to a completely different vehicle and program back to the fj cruiser. A guy on Crutchfield told me to do that but it didn't change anything

So I programmed it to the update 79.59 and back and still nothing. Just a solid red light, never flashes when I put the key in or when it is running
