EVO One the best choice for a 2006 Saturn Ion?

I have a 2006 Saturn Ion and bought a EVO One since it was recommended when I visited the Fortin site. After getting everything ready to go, I noticed that the EVO One is more of a stand-alone unit. I bought an after-market keyless/car start to work with a fortin EVO One. Should I buy a new module through fortin, or is there a way to use the EVO One with my after market unit?

if you are going to use an after market keyless/starter you would want to use passlock-sl2-v2. http://fortin.ca/download/24951/passlock-sl2v2_revl.pdf

 

the evo-one is already a remote starter and would not work with your keyless/starter.
