Help me please in evo one with kia rio 2013

Question

Something happened to my evo one...before everything work well..my children play with the key and the brake pedal after that the rf kit not working... When I try to program it no responce

i program again the evo one with my car till the blue led flashes rapidly

but i cant program the excalibur rf51-edp like before

also i noticed that when i program the evo one the park lights not flashing like before during programming with the rf kit

Some remote have a keypad lock feature that will disable all buttons on the remote. Check with Excalibur if they have such feature. Kids somehow always find the button combination to enable this function.

Kids playing with the ignition and brake will not disable EVOONE... Sounds like something with the remote or the antenna.

and why now when i try to program again the evo one with the car the park lights and the anterior led lights not flashes like before?

if the last command sent to the evo-one was lock, the unit will be armed. It will not allow programming if it is armed.

 

To disarm the unit, simply go in and out of valet mode.

1. ignition on

2. press valet button 3 times

3. ignition off

red led flashing = system is armed  (cannot program remotes when the system is armed)

red led solid = system in valet mode = remote starter will not work (this was probably the issue to begin with)

red led off = system disarmed

remote programming and module (vehicle) programming are two completely different things.

Step 1 - Turn key ON

Step 2- Press and HOLD VALET button (NOT the tiny programming button)

----- the RED LED at the back of the unit will start to flash

The valet button is the one connected to the white connector on the evo-one. At this time, is the red light next to the yellow loop flashing on the module ?

the connector containing the canbus wire is not connected to your module, this is the reason you are having trouble.

If the led flash on the module every time but the the parking light does not flash it means your parking light are not properly connected. Follow the LED on the module and don't worry about the parking light.

Every time you press the programming button , the led should flash once. When you press the brake the led should also flash once.

This means the EVOONE IS in programming mode. At this point you must press lock on your remote to program and the led should flash once.

You should contact Excalibur, the EVOONE is going into programming mode but your antenna is not sending anything to it.

Hello...no problem from the rf kit....I did master reset to evo one... After that all working again but some changes in the settings... I did order to buy flashlink 1.... Thank you so much... I wait the updater to make my favorite settings and contact you to help me... Thanks again for your help and support
