evo-all dodge Dakota Brake disarm not working & security light on dashboard not going out

0 votes
As I turn the key to the on position an hit the brake the remote start is still on and the security light is still on.well I tried leaving the key on and pushed the start button then the remote starter shuts off and the security light too. I know it's not supposed too work that way. On the installation A chart it doesn't show installing the brake wire or parking light.

Are you saying the take over is not working?

When you hit the brake pedal after doing the take over sequence what do the lights on the module do?

The red and yellow light stay on nothing else when I push on the brake
hhhmmm somethings not right that's for sure. I would suggest the following:

1- mster reset here is a how to: http://wirecolor.com/en/qa/50193/faq-how-do-i-reset-my-evo-all?show=50193#q50193

2- updating the firmware to the newest version using the flash link

3- re enable option C1 and D1

4- re program the unit in the vehicle and re test.
Cannot figure out how to get to the master rest just brings me to the wire color page
Well I did the master rest & flash the updated firmware and tried it in the truck and the same alarm light still flashes while starting, and the brake shout down not working. I checked the wires again, the red power wire is hucked to the wire that comes in from the firewall witch is a constant flow, 3 yellow ignition wires connected together ,green & purple wires together, and ground wire that I have boulted to the meddle piece under the dash, I don't have the parking light connected. It starts locks shuts down when I press the start button, runs for 15 min turnes off. When I turn the ignition to start and press the start button it turnes off the evo and the security light on the dash bord. So if you find out the problem please let me know till then I will start turning off the evo with the key turned on and press the start button, to disactavate the evo to save my starter from constant restart. Thank you
