Will evo-one work without TB-Subaru if I have my factory key and wire loop to program it?

Question

I have a 08 Subaru Outback that does have key immobilize security. Will the Evo-one program the key through the wire loop without using the TB-Subaru option?  If so, do I leave the loop wire around the ignition key tumbler after it is programmed for the system to work?

Yes doing a key wrap can also work.
