diesel option isn't working

+1 vote
I have a ram with the cummins diesel, and have an issue with the start. It starts fine when warm, but in cold weather, the truck starts hard, and I discovered it is because it doesn't have the delay it should for the grid heater to warm up. Diesel option on and off in the programmer doesn't make a difference as to how long after ignition on, it starts. Need help! It's too cold to walk outside already and it's only December!

Turn off option B2 then retest.

If it does the same thing update the module to the newest firmware (74.27) and reprogram the evo from start to finish then retest again.

Once you've done these test let me know if the delay works as it should when its cold out.

So, i toggled the B2 option to no victory, so i reflashed the FORTIN ALL with 74.27, and it waited for the grid heater (glow plugs) but then once they were warm, and ready to start, the truck would shut off and not try to start, tried it again with same results, so i reset the module, and it will not reprogram on the 47.27 firmware. i get to the point where you re insert the key to sample the immobilizer data, and the led stays solid red, no blue like it should per the instructions. i have to reset it to 47.22 firmware to reprogram the module to take the immobilizer data.

experianceing the same problem on 16 2500 Ram Diesel. Seems like a delay to start option would resolve the issue. Please advise!
