evo-all with ftx64-2w can't program cuz don't get yellow led after reb-blue sequence

0 votes
I did the reset tpo blue to see if my ignition and canbus are ok and passed that ( blue led flashes after key to on. But when I try to program the remote keys I reset to red-blue then press reset for 5secs, but after that red-blue stays on. If I insert key then blue led flashes alone.

Options I have programmed in are A1,A3,B1,B2,B3,C1 AND H2. when I saved it said options saved in upper right corner.

In the flash manager the bottom right corner says Connection mode bypass and if I try to go remote starter it always says device not connected.

Flashlink manager is at 3.54

EVO-ALL is at 74.26

the yellow led will only turn on after turning ignition On.

looking at the service number there's some weird stuff going on with the options. http://fortin.ca/en/support/001a06639026/

I should be seeing:

  • all the A options ON
  • C1 and D1 On
  • H2 on

When connecting the EVO-ALL to the Flash-Link, please pay attention to what it first says on the bottom right corner of the Flash-Link Manager program. Under the quit button, it should say Connection Mode: Bypass and not Connection mode: Remote Starter. If it says connection mode: remote starter, hit the toggle button a few times until its says Bypass, then, connect the EVO to the flash link.

The Master Reset on the EVO-ALL is shown here: http://fortin.ca/en/qa/50193/faq-how-do-i-reset-my-evo-all?show=50193#q50193

After the reset, go set the options (making sure that before connecting the evo to the flash link, it says connection mode: bypass)

Once that is done, you will need to go through the EVO-ALL programming for the Dodge RAM as described in the installation guide.

Once it is programmed, then, let's try doing the remote control programming.

I would have thought that since I am using a FTX64-2w RF remote starter that I would need B2.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Don't need the B2 option. The description of B2, although correct, is a little misleading.
