Jeep wont stay running when started with key only

After installing the remote start on my 2010 jeep wrangler, the car will not stay running when starting with the key only.

Have you tried removeing the module and t-harness (if using one) and trying to start the vehicle by key to see if it is an issue within the module/t-harness?

Also have you looked over fuses and wires in the vehicle to make sure you havent poped a fuse or pinched a wire?

 

After you have checked all of that out and if the vehicle still displays the same symptom i would take a look at this thread...This may have happened when you unplugged the transponder connector.

Yes, I disconnected the t harness and the key will start the car, but it shuts off after a few seconds.  Obviously, this only started after I INSTALLED the harness.

This was the fix. THanks. I was able to solder this back and reinstall.

 

Saved me several hundered dollars.
