2016 Kia Soul EX base

Question

I was not able to see any information with regards to the 2016 Kia Soul, I am looking for information on compatible products and installation.

I am looking at the EVO-ONE with the THAR-ONE-KHY2,

Will this product be compatible with the 2016 Kia Soul EX? It is my understanding that this unit with the T Harness would basically be plug and play without splicing any wires to the vehicle. This would allow me to wire an remote starter to the EVO-ONE that would allow for remote start/Alarm without any additional modules needed.

No solution yet for the 2016 as we have not seen it. The thar-khy2 may not be compatible, we don't know yet. As for connections, it is not plug and play. The t-harness, if it's compatible, will cover the main ignition harness connections but extra wiring would be required for key data and can-bus. Making a harness to cover those other connections would cost wayyyyyyy too much and not be cost worthy for anyone.

 

The EVO-ONE is indeed an all in one remote start / alarm with a built interface module (the evo-all actually). Since the 2016 Kia Soul is not tested yet, i cannot confirm if an RF-KIT would be needed or if factory start via the oem remote would be functional.

 

Typically, the installation would look something like this minus the ignition harness connections (accessory-ignition-start) : Regular Installation (as an example!!)
