programming compustar remotes to evo-one

Question

having trouble programming compustar remotes to evo-one, did the 4-pin wire change on antenna but when i go to program remotes i dont get the LED to come on after i push valet switch. when I turn on the ignition, the yellow light on the evo one does turn on.

 

 

Note: was able to fix the issue with tech support over the phone, I was using hardware version 1, in which case i had to hard wire the ignition wire (Pink) on the main harness with a diode. Tech also said hardware 3 has IGN jumped inside with yellow wire on 20 pin harness.

I think you just spoke to Rico and you had to connect that thick Pink wire to ignition?
