why when I use the latest software ( 73.14 ) on the Evo-One it does nothing but ( 73.07 ) almost works

Question

Im installing a Evo-One with THAR-ONE-HON2 why when I use the latest software ( 73.14 ) on the Evo-One it does nothing when programmed for 3x lock but if I use the minium ( 7.03 ) the Evo-One unlocks the doors and the yellow led comes on like it is trying to start but no power on the ing and start wires, then it shuts down then does the same thing ( like it is trying to start a second time. Opition C1 and D2 are on, I tested the T-harness it is ok. I checked with a test light there is no power coming out of the Evo-One no Ing, no starter

Opition C1 and D2 are on

This is why it's not working. If you activated D2 in the offline options things will start not working. This is fine for the EVO-ALL, but not the EVO-ONE. (D2 is actually not available for the EVO-ONE)

 

Options for 3x Lock required when using an EVO-ONE are options 38.2 in the remote starter options and option C1. There is quick step-bystep pdf available here : EVO-ONE OEM Remotes

1) Start by doing a master reset, then flash the bypass side of the unit to the latest firmware for Honda, 73.XX.

1. Hold down programming button while plugging in main 6-pin connector.
2. Let go of button when LED is RED.
3. Push and hold button again until all three LEDs start to alternate.
4. Disconnect unit, she is now reset.

 

2) Follow the instructions in the pdf on how to enable 3x Lock start.

 

3) Then program the unit to the vehicle.
