Make sure nothing is connected to the yellow/black wire of the EVO.

If I look at the EVO-ALL options, which you can find here, the stand alone option for 3x times Lock start is not turned on.


And just in case, you should be following connection C of this install guide if also using a Tharness. EVO-ALL & THAR-CHR5 (T-Harness) - Revision 20130219

• Make sure the connections form the T-harness to the EVO are also probably done. I have seen an eBay seller pre wire these for their clients but still managed to make mistakes with the 2 wires that would need to be connected.

If you have a T-Harness...

• 2 connections are required

1. Green/Red of the 20-Pin white connector to the Purple of the T-Harness
2. Yellow of the 20-Pin white connector to the Yellow coming from T-Harness

Your initial problem though comes from the fact that you  currently do not have the Stand Alone Option activated in the EVO.
