Unless the vehicle is a 2010, it's possible that it is not a G-Key. In 2010 some had the Gkey some did not. 2011 though, they all had a G-Key. The tenth digit of the VIN will tell you the manufacturing year; A=2010 B=2011


If it they are not original Toyota keys, they will also not have a G on them.

With or without G-Key, this guide should work...

If the key does not have a G it should have a dot stamped at the base of the metal shaft. This shows it's 40 bit and wiring use RX and TX at transponder ring
