2010 Taurus cannot program evo all transponder section

Question

I have the evo all with the T harness. I have tried multiple times to program but in steps 14 and 15 I continue to get a red light. I noticed when I placed first key i get yellow and red together but when i place second key in I only get the red light when I cycle the second key in the ignition.

I tried programing with decryptor.In steps 14 and 15 when I turned ignition off the blue light went out but another light came on instead (either yellow or red).

Does master reset clear decryptor information? I read another post where connecting red/blue to power was suggested. Should I try?

Am I doing something incorrectly?

If you have the flash-link udpater, I'd recommend doing the Dcryptor programming procedure on Ford vehicles with the 40 bit key.

Master reset will reset everything back to default except for the actual firmware loaded into the EVO.

Programming the keys relies on ignition, Tx and Rx. The red/blue you saw a mention of connected to start is a for something to try in the case the the unit did programm but the when trying to the remtoe starter, the vehicle would not crank. This has nothing to do with programming. Tx and Rx are the light blue and light blue/black wires of the EVO that are connected to the tharness same color wires.
