Enable defrost and heated seats on 2007 grand cherokee

Question

Programmed the module to enable heated seats and defrost, but they do not activate when the vehicle is started.  Is there something else that needs to be configured?  I think those are both can bus signals to turn on.  Thanks

Well, the answer is quite simple. No module does heated seats and rear defrost control on the 2007 Grand Cherokee.

That is most unfortunate.  That is one of the reasons I bought this unit...  The item description says it does it,  but I'm guessing that is a general feature that apparently only works on some other vehicle(s).  

This is feature is confirmed to work with the dball on this same vehicle, and the dball appears to be wired exactly the same way.  Any idea why the fortin firmware does not support heated seats when the xpresskit firmware does?  I chose the Fortin because an installer told me their firmware support was better, but in didn't know I'd be giving up this option.  Can you patch the firmware to enable this?

We won't be able to do it until we get the actual Can codes for activating the heated seats. If we had the codes, we could put out a beta .
