Compatible Compustar RF Kits

0 votes

If connecting or using a Firstech/Compustar RF Kits to the EVO-ONE or EVO-ALL, would you need other special parts? I am reading on the pdf guide # 19941 and it mentions a "RF converter"? is this something you provide with the bypass module, or I have to get this somewhere else?

Next is, do you have a list of compatible Firstech/Compustar RF Kits/Remotes with the EVO-ONE or EVO-ALL?

Thanks,

the Rf converter will come with the RF-kit when required.

As for a list, currently we have this page available : https://fortin.ca/en/technology/rf_kits.html

I'd recommend contacting your distributor to see what they have available as far as Rf kits compatibilities go.

Compustar/Firstech has the FT-D100 to be used as the RF converter. Would the EVO-ALL or EVO-ONE with the FT-D100 support the 2 Way Compustar/Firstech remotes (meaning it'll actually do confirmations on the 2 way remotes)?
Both EVO-ONE or EVO-ALL will function with the 2-way remotes.

The converter is actually not required on the EVO-ONE with 4 pin RF-kits. Switch the wires around in the connector and then plug it straight into the EVO. The 6-pin RF-Kits will require the converter box. Everything is outlined in the the step-by-step setup guide : https://fortin.ca/download/19941/
