Problems with Evo-One-442 and Fiat 500

0 votes
Hi. I bought and installed an EVO-One and RF442. Module is programmed but have couple of issue. The car remote starts using the oem remote, but it triggers the oem alarm even though I configured it according to the guide. Also, the check engine light is coming on with P0633 since I installed it. Also, can’t program the RF442. The antenna led flashed rapidly, but the remotes do not program.

Car is a Fiat 500 2013 AT

Any tips ?

Thanks

Hello,

What is the S/N number on the unit?

If the alarm is going off and you can hear the horn this would indicate that the horn wire was not cut as shown in the diagram (page 4). https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/63391/EVO-ONE_IG_REG_BI_FIA-500_2014-2016_KEY_A_63391.pdf

Looking at the set criteria for fault p0633, it states that this is a non MIL fault. You are getting an actual engine light? or are you scanning the vehicle and finding it in stored codes?

Make sure to unlock the vehicle using the OEM remote prior to attempting to program the Rf kit. Here are the pairing instructions (page 2): https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/68451/EVO-ONE_QG_4BOUTONS_EN_E_68451.pdf

Hi,

Yeah I think I made a mistake with the Horn wiring, will redo it right.

I'll check again with the Check Engine light. For the RF Kit, that I can't figure it out. Everything is working except when it comes time to program them after the antenna led flashes... the remotes flash red and then makes a sound after pushing + and Lock, but nothing happens after.

Thanks,

Nathan
Make sure you are pressing + then lock, not both at the same time. One after the other.
Checked and fixed the horn wiring but it still triggers the alarm and the horn even though I cut the wiring …. Maybe it’s an option in Flashlink ? Also, it looks like the key fobs don’t communicate with the antenna, because I receive no feedback when I press the buttons on the fobs and they don’t seem to program…
With the ignition on, If you unplug the red connector from the evo one and press the horn, does it sound?

Are you able to get the unit into pairing mode?
