2015 audi a3, setup and programming complete- no start and no lights on EVO-vwt6

Question

After successfully programming the unit with flash updater and r-link, and a successful d-cryptor session, I reinstalled the unit, and hit the lock button 3 times, and i got nothing.

I noted that there are no lights on the unit after all connections are made, with the 4 pin black connector first, and all other connections followed.

Once re-installed, no lights should be on. Also, ideally you should use LOCK-UNLOCK-LOCK sequence and not the 3xLOCK for these cars. Option D1.11.

 

When you press lock, the blue led should flash once
When you press unlock, the blue led should flash twice.
When you start the car normally, the yellow led should be on.
When remote started, the red and yellow will be on.

 

What is the 12 digit serial number of the module?

The S/N is 001A07 535282

I never would have guessed to use the lock unlock lock setting.

So I get the yellow light on normal start up, but I don't think I have ever seen the blue light flash, I will update the settings accordingly and let you know how it goes.

Rob, I found that after redoing the entire system, my EVO-ALL does not acknowledge the OEM remotes lock signal

Lets start fresh in these exact steps


1. RESET the EVO-ALL
2. Reflash the 64.06 firmware (click on View other Firmwares and select 64.06)
3. Set up the options
4. Reprogram in car
5. Redo Dcryptor 
6. Test

 

Reset procedure can be found here: 

1. Hold down programming button while plugging in datalink connector.
2. Let go of button when LED is RED.
3. Push and hold button again until all three LEDs start to alternate.
4. Disconnect unit, it is now reset.

I did this earlier today. The unit is still not acknowledging the lock signal from the oem remote. Unlock gives me a double blue, nothing on lock. I am at a loss.
