2005 Toyota Tacoma without Transponder key amplifier

0 votes
I have a 2005 toyota tacoma without a transponder key amplifier, the installation guide said that I should connect the A10 terminal to Rx and the T20 terminal to Tx, but I do not have these cables, because I do not have the 7-pin connector of the transponder, where I should connect them ? What I see is that the guide for a 2010 Toyota Tacoma with type G key is very similar to the 2005 that I have, even down to the ignition cable colors.

what should I do? With which diagram should I connect my remote starter?

Hello,

If there is no rx tx then there is no programming of the bypass.

All connections such as brake wire, door locks, parking lights etc must be manually connected from the module to the vehicle.

Also you must program an rf kit to the evo one, 3x lock is not supported.

You would also need to enable option 20.2 (automatic transmission only) in the evo one remote starter.

Best regards.

Hello and thanks Derek,

Well, I have done all the installations manually, and I have everything configured as you say, but even so the module does not finish programming, it has only happened to me with this vehicle.
If you have no transponder then there is no programming of the module to the vehicle itself.

The only programming you would do is to program the rf kit to the evo-one and turn on option 20.2 using the flm at a computer.

Best regards.
Yes, I did exactly that, but it doesn't work.

Best Regards,
In that case call into technical support with the vehicle and module so an agent can assist you.

If you vehicle is not equipped with an immobilizer system then there would be no need to connect those wires, (RX and TX)

Thank you JM

I already installed it without those wire (TX, RX), but the remote starter does not finish the configuration, it does not work, I have installed it in other vehicles, and everything works, but this one (Tacoma 2005) does not.
