Why does the yellow LED not turn off at end of programming?

2006 Chevy Trailblazer LS with Crimestopper RS4-G5 and EVO-ALL. Everything goes just perfectly with the install until the final step. The yellow LED is on Solid just as the install manual says. I turn the key off and the yellow LED does not turn off. The remote start will send the signal to start, but it never tries to start. If I then use the key to turn it on, it will run and continue running after I have turned it off and removed the key. Firmware is 70.18. Used connection 3 and Program 3 from the manual. Could not find where to get firmware 4.06 that the manual says is required. Guide #3309

Normally this happens when somehting is being sent through the data link to the evo. Try removeing the blue and white wires from the data link and see if the issue still present.
