First you will need to enable option 33.2 in the remote starter.

then refer to Choice 3 in this guide on how to set ready mode: https://fortin.ca/en/download/87611/87611.pdf

Ready mode must be set every time you wish to remote start the vehicle.

Thanks for that.
I did as you advised.
regarding option 3, every time I try the sequence, the car does not stay running after key off however the ignition does remain on for a couple of seconds and the hazard light blink. After that remote start still does not work. Hazards blink once slow then twice fast before the EVO one clicks and shuts the car down.
Question, how did you bypass the clutch circuit in the vehicle?

Also do you have a test-one?
I did not bypass the clutch circuit as I saw no mention of it in the installation PDF

and no I don't have a test one.
if  you could advise me on how to bypass the clutch circuit I would appreciate it.
I will have to look into this further and get back to you. The guide online only covers automatic transmission, I do not know if Fortin currently support the manual transmission.
Thank you Derek

For the clutch, it should be the violet wire at the clutch switch. It should be a positive signal. You would use the large yellow wire from the main 6 pin connector of the evo-one.

If the nis6 harness was used, you will need to wire in power and ground on the main 6 pin connector.

TEST BEFORE CONNECTING

Once that is done re attempt ready mode and let me know if it works.

Works like a charm, thank you!

is there anyway to change settings to make the vehicle shut off once the door opens instead of after closing the doors ( car thinks i forgot the car running on exit with the key in the car and beeps and does not allow doors to lock on first attempt.

thanks!
Unfortunately not. I will shut down on door closed.
thank you so much
Two more questions. Remote start is working perfect however parking lights do not come on when can starts and also the defrost comes on all the time even tho it's 70 degrees (F) today
The evo one does not do parking lights on this vehicle, it do hazard lights. They will flash at start and when the vehicle shuts down. Refer to option E5 (page 1) in the guide for description of flash pattern: https://fortin.ca/download/80221/evo-one_ig_rto_bi_nis6-kicks_pts_2018_d_80221.pdf

- Defrost is automatic. You can turn off option A4 in the evo and it will no longer activate with remote start. If using an rf kit you can send aux 1 (-) + Lock to manual activate or de activtae the read defrost.
