Fortin unit lights up in red only

0 votes

Hello, I bought the remote start unit, but when programming, it does not accept a change. I connected the main cable with six wires while pressing the programming button, but it lights up in red and does not change. I tried that more than once, but to  no avail. Can you help me with that?o

The unit is jammed you just need to reset it. To do so you'll have to flash the bypass to 0.99 then power cycle it in the vehicle (the three LEDs will flash) and reflash it to the recommeded firmware.

I did not understand what you mean, is it the programming button or what and what you mean by 0.99

0.99 is a firmware that you can select on the bypass side and flash the module to it, this firmware is used to do a reset.
now firmware 1.25in the FlashLink Manager
1.25 is a remote starter firmware, you need to look for 0.99 on the bypass side.
Thank you very much man, I have reinstalled version 0.99
It appears in the description that it fixed the red light. Thank you again, but I was surprised to reach the upper limit to decrypt the key and I wrote to the support and waited for a response from them. Sad thing. This policy is to close the decryption.
send an email to support@fortin.ca with the module 12 digit service number of your flash or dcryptor limit have been reached.
