Take Over

Question

Hello.  When I install a remote start with Fortin on new Prado, pressing the start-stop button helps prevent the engine from stalling when I press the brake. However, on Kia and Hyundai, pressing the start-stop button doesn't help. The engine still stalls when I press the drake. What's the cause?

Yes. The radio stay on.

Kia Seltos and Elantra 2017

Normally if the vehicle shuts down but radio stays on it is because the wrong take over control wire has been cut.

And, on Seltos I installed evo-key

Guessing its a 2021 pts, although I think you said this one was a 2020 but should be the same. Evo key wont do take over since it does not have the cut incoporated into the installation.
